Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve challenges within accounts with tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan aligning shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Apply market/competitive knowledge and cross-functional understanding to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover local insights, support pull-through efforts, and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with stakeholders to solve complex challenges across functions.
- Deliver real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for a seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years (Associate-level candidates with limited sales experience encouraged).
- Proven track record of high performance and ability to sell to large accounts.
- Self-starter with strong analytics and ethical leadership; ability to comply with company policies and laws.
- Reside within the territory (or within 50 miles of the border); travel 60β80% and drive/fly within territory; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Understanding of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Leveling (filled commensurate with experience):
- Associate: 4+ years military leadership (or limited prior sales experience).
- Territory: 2+ years relevant specialty pharma/biotech/healthcare/medical device/diagnostics/life sciences services/insurance/consumer health/B2B sales.
- Senior: 5+ years relevant experience.
