Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan aligning shared priorities and insights/tactics to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, and cross-functional dynamics to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to generate local insights, support pull-through, and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex challenges collaboratively.
- Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach in virtual and face-to-face settings.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similar complex sales environments) with geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years; limited prior sales experience is acceptable for Associate Level.
- Proven track record of high performance selling to large accounts.
- Self-starter with analytic abilities; ethical leadership and compliance with company policies and laws.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the border; travel 60โ80%; must drive/fly within territory; valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Leveling:
- Associate: 4+ years military leadership (recent separation) or limited prior sales experience; strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Territory: 2+ years in complex specialty sales (last 5 years); strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Senior: 5+ years in similar complex specialty sales (last 5 years); strong cross-functional collaboration.
Driving is an essential function: fully valid/unrestricted driverโs license required.
