Territory Account Specialist (TAS) β field-based/remote supporting key accounts in an assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Anticipate opportunities/challenges using market and competitive knowledge.
- Use territory data and market trends for local insights, pull-through efforts, and impactful engagements (virtual/in-person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex problems across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and collaborate with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Experience (within last 5 years) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams; other complex sales backgrounds welcome (e.g., devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B). Associate level: limited sales experience accepted.
- Proven high performance selling to large/key accounts.
- Self-starter/analytic problem-solver with ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Live in territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable:
- Therapeutic/disease-state, account management, and new product launch experience.
- Patient services/market access knowledge (buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement) and HCP calling.
Leveling:
- Associate: leadership military background (4+ years) or limited sales experience.
- Territory: 2+ years relevant complex specialty sales.
- Senior: 5+ years relevant complex specialty sales.
Additional:
- Driving is essential; must have fully valid/unrestricted license.
- Training: complete initial training (home study; up to 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week).
- No relocation; no visa sponsorship.
Compensation/Benefits (U.S.): Salary range: Associate $81,200β$150,800; TAS $114,100β$211,900; Senior $132,300β$245,700. Performance incentive; possible annual equity by level; health/life/disability, 401(k) with match, and time off.
