Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use market/competitive and cross-functional knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to find local insights, support pull-through, and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex challenges across functions.
- Deliver real-time access support in partnership with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience (within last 5 years) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams; associate level: limited prior sales experience acceptable.
- Proven high-performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytic/problem-solving skills and ethical leadership/compliance mindset.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Understanding of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or HCP medical calling.
Driving is an essential function (must have valid, unrestricted driver’s license).
Field roles: complete initial training (home study; ≤8 hrs/day and ≤40 hrs/week).
