Field-based role (Seattle area); candidates should live within a reasonable distance from Seattle (covers Washington and Alaska).

Reporting into the District Manager (DM), the Oncology Specialist (OS) will build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals. Responsibilities include building a comprehensive strategic business plan with specific, measurable objectives and action-oriented strategies; responsible resource allocation; and maintaining compliant, high ethical standards.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed assigned sales goal.
- Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive selling skills (within AbbVie Promotional Policy).
- Leverage sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies within the territory using cross-functional partners and approved resources.
- Continuously build knowledge of the marketplace, territory changes, and disease state/product expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with territory partners and external counterparts.
- Develop and execute a call plan to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency to maximize sales opportunities.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred.
- 6+ years Oncology, including solid tumor sales experience preferred (may consider hospital sales or strong account management).
- Buy-and-Bill experience preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
- Exceptional consultative communication skills.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Pass AbbVie background check and additional background screening as required (e.g., immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening).
- Regular business travel required (air or car).
- Ability to drive personal auto or company vehicle/equipment.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
