Field-based role. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city (Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Lake Placid, Binghamton and surrounding areas).

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals.
- Meet/exceed assigned sales goals.
- Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive/consultative selling skills (per AbbVie Promotional Policy).
- Leverage sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic plans aligned to brand objectives.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies in the territory using cross-functional partners and approved resources.
- Continuously build knowledge of the marketplace, territory changes, disease state knowledge, and product expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with territory partners and external counterparts.
- Develop and execute call plans to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing AbbVie activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred.
- 6+ years Oncology (solid tumors sales experience preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
- Exceptional communication skills; consultative selling approach.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Pass AbbVie background check and additional screening as required (may include background checks, immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening).
- Regular business travel by air or car.
- Driving a personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
