Responsibilities:
- Field-based Oncology Sales Representative for Richmond/Southern Virginia territory (Norfolk, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Richmond).
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals.
- Meet key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and influencers; build relationships and trust.
- Use approved resources/messaging to communicate patient-centered rationales for oncology products in indicated uses.
- Understand extended care/multidisciplinary team workflows, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines.
- Analyze complex market trends across multiple drug distribution channels (e.g., GPOs, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
- Review/evaluate product purchasing and prescribing patterns (outpatient vs. inpatient infusion; hospital/GPO contract context).
- Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans with local team and district manager (Oncology Customer Team Leader).
- Ask insightful questions about customer priorities; support relevant product portfolio conversations.
- Ensure consistent customer experience and share learnings with the in-scope customer team.

Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years sales experience OR high school diploma + 8+ years equivalent experience.
- Equivalent experience may include healthcare/scientific oncology experience (pharma/biotech/devices), marketing, or military experience (sales not required for non-degree path).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive.
- Travel with overnight travel 10–15%; reside in/within a reasonable distance to the district.

Preferred:
- 2+ years oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics.
- Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience (considered for S2 if <2 years; S3 if 2+ years).

Required skills (examples):
- Customer engagement/relationship management (CRM), data analysis, market analysis, product knowledge/portfolio management, sales forecasting/reporting, revenue generation.
