Oncology Regional Director (Solid Tumor Team) — Southeast Region

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8 Oncology Territory Managers (OTMs) to drive sales performance for mCRC and Lung cancer brands across the Southeast region (LA, AL, MS, TN, Western GA/Atlanta, FL panhandle); candidate must reside in the region.
- Secure OTM commitments to ensure sales strategy and plans succeed in assigned territory.
- Lead development and execution of major programs to meet sales objectives.
- Ensure OTMs execute business planning, customer relationship management, reporting, and tracking of execution metrics.
- Lead regional training and communications to keep the team informed and engaged.
- Ensure team/personal compliance with laws and regulations for interactions with HCPs and appropriate dissemination of literature.
- Drive results with goal-setting, resource management, and execution with limited supervision.
- Build partnerships with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Patient Value & Access (PVA), Learning & Development).
- Recruit, manage, train, and motivate direct reporting staff.
- Analyze regional business trends and opportunities; execute marketing plans and deliver business reviews.
- Partner with Business Insights & Analytics to identify product opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic/tactical account plans and value propositions with Marketing and PVA.
- Gain formulary and protocol access for Takeda Oncology products.
- Coordinate account management at larger outlets.
- Build relationships with executive/operations/financial/pharmacy stakeholders in priority accounts; ensure effective product supply.
- Partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts to educate/inform therapeutic processes and protocols.
- Develop cross-functional business plans and launch business development initiatives for large/high-volume accounts.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years commercial experience in pharma/biotech with 3+ years in Oncology.
- Proven ability to manage a geographic region.
- 50–60% travel capability; minimum of 50–60% travel.
- Candidate should live near a major airport.
- Demonstrated track record of business planning and execution.
- Documented sales success and established relationships in assigned region.
- High science aptitude; ability to coach/teach/train.
- Growth mindset; dynamic, self-starter with strong influence and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to build/maintain strong professional relationships.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commercial, regulatory, and technical awareness.
- Valid US Driver’s License in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years Oncology sales leadership experience (highly preferred).
- 4+ years leadership experience.
- 3+ years direct oncology leadership experience.
- Master’s degree.

Travel Requirements
- ~50–60% travel including evening programs and weekend conferences/congresses.
