Role: Oncology Regional Director for the Solid Tumor Team.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8 Oncology Territory Managers to drive performance for mCRC and Lung cancer brands across the Southeast region (must reside in-region).
- Obtain OTM commitments; lead development/execution of major programs to meet sales objectives.
- Ensure OTMs conduct business planning, customer relationship management, and reporting/tracking of execution metrics.
- Lead regional training/communication; ensure compliance with laws/regulations for interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Drive results with goal-setting and resource management; recruit/manage/train/motivate direct reports.
- Analyze regional business trends/opportunities; execute marketing plans and deliver business reviews.
- Partner with Business Insights/Analytics; develop strategic/tactical account plans and value propositions.
- Gain formulary/protocol access; coordinate account management at larger outlets.
- Build relationships with executives and pharmacy/customers; position Takeda’s portfolio and ensure supply.
- Develop KOL/clinical expert relationships; launch cross-functional plans for large/high-volume accounts.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience with 3+ years in Oncology; 3+ years Oncology sales leadership (preferred).
- Manage a geographic region; live near a major airport.
- Demonstrated business planning/execution success; documented sales success and relationships.
- Science aptitude; ability to coach/train; growth mindset; strong influence/relationship skills.
- Strong organizational/analytical/problem-solving and communication/collaboration skills.
- Commercial, Regulatory, and technical awareness; 50–60% travel; valid US driver’s license.

Preferred
- 4+ years leadership; 3+ years direct oncology leadership; Master’s degree.

Travel
- ~50–60% including some evening programs and weekend conferences.

Benefits/Compensation (summary)
- Base salary range: $207,200–$284,900; may be eligible for incentives and listed benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, etc.).
