Role Summary

Oncology Medical Affairs, Global Medical Strategy Program Lead. Drive alignment and execution across stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs within Oncology Medical Affairs and lead integrated cross-functional planning. Hybrid role with onsite requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic management of GMATs and subcommittees, aligning with stakeholders on strategic priorities and tactical plans; lead the execution of cross-functional deliverables.
  • Drive the annual operating plan, identify and mitigate risks, and support evidence generation strategy implementation and delivery.
  • Align and execute on strategic elements of the medical plan with relevant oncology functions; manage Integrated Evidence Planning, ISR strategy, pre-approval access plan, scientific communications platform, and publication strategy.
  • Develop and lead tracking of performance/activities; coordinate with Medical Impact and Outcomes team.
  • Track medicine/program-level activities (timelines, budgets, risk management); drive meeting agendas and effective discussions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior cross-functional stakeholders; propose new processes/tools to improve alignment and efficiency; promote best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on oncology medical services to address business challenges and improve alignment and efficiency.
  • Support medicine-level information development with key reports/dashboards and proactive dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Develop/maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and communication strategies; identify risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Medical Strategy Lead for alliance partner program support, joint meetings, work stream tracking, and joint medical plans.
  • Work with Medical Evidence Development to drive Integrated Evidence Planning for oncology assets; align leadership on change initiatives and communications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 8+ years in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical/Healthcare; 3-7+ years in Medical Affairs Project/Program Management.
  • Experience with project management tools/methodologies in biopharma; strong strategic thinking and facilitation skills.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership; able to manage a portfolio of strategic projects on time and within budget.
  • Independent work capability across multiple projects; strong prioritization and judgment.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority; excellent written/spoken English communication; matrix-organization experience.
  • Confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
