Job Summary:
The Oncology/Hematology Specialist serves as primary customer contact for demand creation by executing the marketing strategy and promoting products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel as required and engage customers in-person or virtually.
- Execute marketing strategies: deliver branded sales messages and disease-state education; run promotional programs.
- Represent the company professionally, compliantly, and ethically.
- Provide feedback on marketing tools/tactics and review effectiveness of sales activities.
- Use team members to address customer needs and ensure patient access to products.
- Provide exceptional customer service through total account management, including product access and triaging medical/reimbursement issues.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of clinical benefits; maintain strong disease-state knowledge and selling skills.
- Build and maintain a business plan reflecting local market/account knowledge.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Local Oncology market knowledge.
- Customer-centric selling; ability to work in matrix teams.
- Valid driverโs license (or ability to obtain if required) and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to build strong relationships with healthcare providers in community and academic settings.
- Several years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience (or equivalent); preference for hematology experience.
- History of successful sales performance; strong business analytics and account management.
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Ability to travel via various modes (including overnights).
- Demonstrated leadership, inclusive mindset, product โaccessโ knowledge, strong communication, and business planning acumen.
Salary Range:
$140,000.00 - $230,000.00
