Field Medical (Thoracic/Lung Cancer) – New York (Manhattan & Long Island), Remote—Field Based
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Medical strategy/engagement in assigned territory; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain TA/disease state and product knowledge; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; share HCP info and requested responses per guidance.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Deliver approved medical content via live/virtual, written, and phone/virtual communications.
- Support patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness.
- Lead advisory boards (with vendor support if needed).
- Respond to unsolicited direct HCP medical requests and field inbound queries via triage.
- Support clinical trials: identify potential sites (including under-represented populations) and provide Medical support for ISR.
- Lead study design/data interpretation discussions with customers; provide asset leadership.
- Deliver actionable field insights; support cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs at associations; provide mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science (required).
- PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal degree (highly preferred).
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD 6 yrs; MBA/MSc 8 yrs; BA/BSc 10 yrs.
- Subject-matter expert; excellent oral/written communication; strong interpersonal and conflict management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage remote workload; matrix collaboration; clinical/technical skills.
- Travel: 60–80% (company car/regular flights required); weekends as needed; reside in NY (Manhattan/Long Island).
Preferred:
- Knowledge of internal/external SOPs/rules/regulations; prior Field Medical experience.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Base salary: $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% of base (Global Performance Plan); eligibility for long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, leave).
Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no U.S. work visa sponsorship.
