Field Medical Scientific Expert (Thoracic Oncology) β New England Territory (MA, ME, VT, NH, CT), Remote β Field Based.
Responsibilities:
- Plan/execute compliant medical strategy and customer engagement in assigned territory.
- Maintain TA/disease-state and Pfizer product knowledge; provide therapeutic area/product info to stakeholders.
- Serve as conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; respond to HCP requests as allowed.
- Deliver approved medical/scientific education; lead advisory boards (with vendor support as needed, manager oversight).
- Identify priority customer segments for medical engagement; field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Support ISR and contribute to clinical trial site identification with Global Medical Affairs/R&D/GPD (including under-represented populations).
- Apply study design/methodology principles; deliver actionable field insights to inform evidence generation.
- Communicate via live/virtual and written/telephone channels; optimize patient centricity (health literacy/cultural awareness).
- Represent Medical Affairs with professional societies; mentor (onboarding, ad boards, study lead) and support special projects.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelorβs in a health science required; PharmD/PhD (or equivalent) highly preferred.
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD (6 years), MBA/MSc (8), BA/BSc (10).
- Subject-matter expert; strong leadership, oral/written and interpersonal skills; ability to manage conflict and matrix teams.
- Strong judgment/prioritization in remote work; change agility; clinical/technical skills; rapid adoption of digital tools.
- Travel 60β80%, weekend work as needed; operate company car.
- Reside in MA, ME, VT, NH, or CT.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Pfizer SOPs/rules/regulations; prior Field Medical experience.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual base salary range: $176,600β$294,300; bonus target 20% and long-term incentive eligibility; comprehensive health/401(k)/leave benefits.
