Field Medical Scientific Expert (Thoracic Oncology) β€” Southeast Territory (FL/PR)

Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute compliant medical strategy and customer engagement within the territory.
- Maintain deep TA/disease-state and Pfizer medicine knowledge; provide therapeutic area/product information.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; share HCP viewpoints as allowed.
- Collaborate with HQ medical colleagues and Medical Information; deliver education via live/virtual and written communications.
- Ensure patient-centric communications (health literacy and cultural awareness).

Additional Responsibilities:
- Deliver approved Pfizer medical content; identify and engage priority customer segments.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical requests with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported info per Pfizer policies.
- Lead advisory boards (with oversight); triage and manage inbound HCP queries.
- Support clinical trial site identification (including under-represented populations) and Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Provide actionable field insights; serve on cross-functional medical/TA/asset committees; represent Medical Affairs externally.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science (required).
- PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (highly preferred).
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (6 yrs), MBA/MSc (8 yrs), BA/BSc (10 yrs).
- SME recognized across internal/external stakeholders; excellent oral/written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize in a remote environment; matrix collaboration; change agility.
- Rapid adoption of digital tools; maintain and record medical interactions.
- Travel 60–80% with weekend support; reside in FL/PR.

Preferred:
- Familiarity with Pfizer SOPs/rules/regulations for customer interactions.
- Prior Field Medical experience.
