Field Medical Director, Malignant Hematology (Remote β Field Based)
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical strategy and compliant customer engagement in assigned territory.
- Provide therapeutic area/product expertise (malignant hematology/hematology and pipeline) to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; respond to HCP requests per Pfizer guidance.
- Support medical content strategy and deliver approved medical content.
- Identify/engage priority customer segments; field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs/Oncology R&D/GPD on clinical trial site identification, including under-represented populations.
- Provide Medical support for Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR); cultivate TA expertise (e.g., congress and literature).
- Lead assets; communicate study design/methodology/data interpretation.
- Collaborate with Patient Advocacy Groups; deliver local PO insights; serve on cross-functional committees.
- Represent Medical Affairs at professional associations; mentorship (onboarding, ad board, study lead).
Qualifications
- MD or DO required.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Subject matter expert; strong oral/written and interpersonal communication.
- Manage remote project volume; prioritize and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Malignant hematology clinical expertise; prior Field Medical experience.
- Knowledge of Pfizer/customer SOPs, regulations; demonstrated leadership/teamwork.
Skills/Work Requirements
- Travel 60β80% (company car; proximity to airline hub); occasional weekend work; operate Pfizer company car/regular flights.
