The Oncology Field Medical Director, Malignant Hematology provides therapeutic area/product expertise across hematology and pipeline in an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical strategy/engagement for assigned customers; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues.
- Maintain expertise in TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide TA/product info to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; respond to HCP requests per Pfizer guidance.
- Support Medical content strategy aligned to Pfizer Medical Affairs; maintain HQ/field communication.
- Deliver approved medical content and presentations (live/virtual, written, phone/virtual).
- Optimize patient centricity (health literacy, cultural awareness).
- Lead priority engagement; field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs/Oncology R&D/GPD on clinical trial site identification (incl. under-represented populations).
- Provide medical support for Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR); cultivate congress/literature expertise.
- Provide asset leadership; understand study design/data interpretation and communicate with customers.
- Lead/proactively communicate with patient advocacy groups; serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs leadership at professional societies.
- Mentorship (onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor); special projects as needed.

Qualifications
- MD or DO required; 4+ years relevant experience.
- Recognized subject matter expert; strong oral/written and interpersonal skills; leadership and ability to influence/collaborate; prioritize and exercise sound judgment.
- Travel 60–80% and operate Pfizer company car; weekend work occasionally.

Preferred
- Malignant Hematology expertise; prior Field Medical experience; familiarity with Pfizer SOPs/rules/regulations.
