Oncology Field Medical, Director (Remote – Field Based)

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical strategy and compliant customer engagement in territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK).
- Provide TA (malignant hematology/disease states) and Pfizer product expertise to internal/external stakeholders.
- Share medical information and customer insights; respond to unsolicited medical requests per Pfizer guidance.
- Develop and execute Field Medical tactics aligned with Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities.
- Deliver approved medical content via live/virtual presentations and written/phone/virtual communications.
- Support study design/data interpretation discussions and Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR); identify clinical trial sites, including under-represented populations.
- Provide asset leadership; support cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs with professional associations.
- Communicate with Patient Advocacy Groups; deliver insights on structure/capabilities/patient needs.
- Mentorship (onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications
- MD or DO.
- 4+ years relevant experience in malignant hematology; subject matter expertise recognized internally/externally.
- Live in territory states (prefer major cities in No. CA: SF/Sac; OR: Portland; WA: Seattle).
- Strong remote project management, change agility, matrix collaboration.
- Excellent oral/written communication; adopt digital tools and document interactions.
- Travel 60–80%, weekend work as needed; proximity to airline hub city; operates Pfizer company car and flies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Deep malignant hematology expertise/clinical experience; established HCP network in territory.
- Familiarity with Pfizer SOPs/rules/regulations; prior Field Medical experience.
- Leadership, teamwork, self-starter/accountability, interpersonal/conflict management.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $230,900–$384,800.
- Bonus target: 25% of base; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
- Benefits include 401(k) with matching + additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision.
