Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute compliant medical strategy and customer engagement for malignant hematology in territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK, HI).
- Maintain expertise in malignant hematology disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide TA/product information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as a medical information conduit; provide allowed responses to unsolicited HCP requests and field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Contribute to medical content strategy; communicate via live/virtual and written/phone channels with patient centricity (health literacy, cultural awareness).
- Deliver approved medical content; identify priority customer segments; provide medical support for Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs/Oncology R&D/GPD on clinical trial site identification, including under-represented populations.
- Support patient advocacy groups; provide insights on local patient needs; serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs with professionalism.
- Provide asset leadership; understand study design/methods/data interpretation; mentor (onboarding partner, ad board, study lead mentor); support special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs in health science required.
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ yrs), MBA/MSc (7+ yrs), BA/BSc (8+ yrs).
- Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology.
- Reside in territory states (preference: major cities in North CA, OR, or WA).
- Strong communication (oral/written), remote project management, matrix collaboration, change agility, and adoption of digital tools.
- Travel 60β80%; operate Pfizer company car; regular air travel; weekend work as needed.
Preferred
- Terminal doctorate (PharmD/PhD or equivalent), deep malignant hematology expertise, established HCP network in territory, prior Field Medical experience, familiarity with SOPs/rules.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Annual base salary: $176,600β$294,300; bonus target 20%; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; 401(k) match, paid vacation/holidays/personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
