Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team of Oncology Sales Specialists to deliver on strategic sales objectives and establish a cadence of accountability using KPIs.
- Model leadership by setting clear expectations, promoting accountability, enabling others, and improving processes by challenging the status quo.
- Lead and mentor specialists to orchestrate total account calls by coordinating resources to plan, communicate, and follow through on customer needs.
- Develop, implement, and cultivate customer-centric business plans with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to optimize customer experience and product demand.
- Serve on the Regional Leadership team supporting region goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Embed a customer-centric, action-oriented culture encouraging team members to speak up, solve problems, collaborate, experiment, and fail forward.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical, access and reimbursement, territory management, and appropriate use of omni-channel marketing tools.
- Leverage analytics platforms to identify risk and opportunity and ensure effective use of field resources (face-to-face meetings, omni-channel tools, total office calls, and cross-functional partners).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Leadership experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similarly structured complex sales environments); internal sales associates eligible if ELDP completed or 2+ years sales management in the last two years.
- 3+ yearsโ experience as a first-line sales manager with strategic/enterprise mindset.
- Proven success attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent and building high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, lead cross-functional partnerships, and execute initiatives in complex, multi-regional environments.
- Highly valued: experience managing field organizations through change, innovation, or growth.
- Live within the territory or within 100 miles of the territory border; travel 60โ80%; must have valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience leading teams supporting large practices, hospitals, IDNs/SoCs, with reimbursement understanding.
