Role Summary

Oncology Account Specialist, NSCLC and NMSC responsible for engaging NSCLC & NMSC oncology specialists and key customers within a defined account set (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, community accounts) to deliver clinically focused selling messages, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals. Collaborates with Reimbursement/Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers to address customer needs while complying with all company policies and US promotional regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage oncology specialists and other key experts within assigned accounts, delivering clinical messages to introduce the brand in NSCLC & NMSC (including CSCC and BCC) and grow brand share and revenue.
  • Partner with Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, alliance counterparts, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Identify business opportunities within accounts and coordinate efforts across the Regeneron Oncology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
  • Build broad relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges and identify applicable Regeneron Oncology resources.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance and understanding of regulations governing customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of Oncology sales experience (NSCLC experience preferred); buy-and-bill experience with biologics; experience working with key NSCLC & NMSC thought leaders or high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions; current account management experience with large Oncology group practices or IDNs; strong understanding of NSCLC & NMSC therapeutic area and oncology marketplace; ability to travel and cover large geography territories; must live in the territory.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.

  • Results-oriented with a track record of product launches.
  • Strong account management, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.

Education

  • Bachelors degree required; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must live in the territory and be able to travel; ability to cover large geography territories.
