Role Summary

Oncology Account Specialist (OAS) in the Albuquerque, NM market for the G2 (Gynecologic/Genitourinary) Cancer team. Responsible for engaging healthcare professionals through diverse channels, leading clinical discussions, developing account plans, and supporting education across the tumor patient journey. Collaborates with the Oncology Business Manager to inform geography-level priorities and cross-brand engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Learn account priorities for specific tumor types and local clinical practice trends.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments and identify multi-disciplinary customers within accounts across the patient journey to inform business priorities.
  • Develop tumor-focused business plans based on key insights and engagement plans with key account partners.
  • Collaborate with peer field team members to identify cross-brand engagement opportunities.
  • Provide input into geography-level priorities and plans.
  • Educate and engage healthcare professionals about efficacy, safety, and dosing profiles for FDA-approved indications.
  • Educate on approved companion diagnostic tests and the importance of appropriate patient identification.

Qualifications

  • Required: 3+ years of demonstrated Sales or Commercial experience or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry/settings within the healthcare ecosystem
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Preferred: Oncology sales experience in Breast, Lung, Hematology, Gynecology, Genitourinary, or Gastrointestinal cancer
  • Preferred: Experience with successful launches and balancing a complex portfolio
  • Preferred: Track record of building customer relationships through in-person and virtual channels and strong sales goal achievements
  • Preferred: Ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information
  • Preferred: Proactive adaptability to growth and innovation through new ideas and technologies
