The Oncology Account Manager builds and maintains strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals/academic medical centers, and ancillary staff involved in the care of cancer patients. Represents Genmab by providing approved disease and product information and resources to key decision makers within the assigned territory.
Territory: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Amarillo/Lubbock (TX), Jackson/MS, and Shreveport/Monroe (LA). Candidates must live within commuting distance.
Responsibilities:
- Support Genmabβs Hematology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace
- Meet or exceed territory sales goals by positioning product benefits and appropriate use for patients
- Develop and implement robust territory business plans; meet/exceed productivity requirements
- Flex between virtual and in-person engagements; consider account communication preferences
- Analyze market data and action insights to improve business planning
- Build long-term customer relationships with value-based solutions
- Represent brands in a compliant, ethical, and effective manner
- Understand disease states, brands, and competitor products; articulate value across digital/live mediums
- Demonstrate proficiency in reimbursement and injectable fulfillment pathways
- Manage territory resources and budget; creatively gain customer access
- Share knowledge to foster team effectiveness; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
- BS/BA
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales; 3+ years demonstrated success in Oncology marketplace (Hematology preferred)
- Hematology/Oncology launch experience
- Proven account management and sales performance; strong business analytics
- Ability to work in matrix teams and communicate effectively at all levels
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, MS Teams, Veeva (etc.)
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail
- Must live within assigned geography
