Oncology Account Manager (OAM) β Reporting to the Regional Business Director, contribute to Kuraβs sales objective by performing assigned sales activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Achieve assigned territory sales objective
- Communicate balanced, accurate, complete information on FDA-approved products during HCP calls
- Develop and implement a territory business plan
- Navigate hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, and healthcare communities; align with cross-functional commercial partners
- Complete administrative requirements (budget, expense reports, CRM call reporting/synchronization) within timelines
- Strategically promote and expand use of assigned products using deep HCP/account understanding
- Operate within assigned expense budget; maintain fiscal responsibility
- Comply with federal/state/local laws and PhRMA Code; comply with company standards/policies
- Complete and maintain required training (product knowledge, disease state, market, selling skills, compliance)
- Identify and resolve issues/opportunities; communicate proactively to marketing and sales management
Job Specifications / Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required (business/marketing/healthcare/life sciences preferred)
- 6+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 3+ years in oncology/hematology and/or rare disease (oral therapeutic selling preferred)
- Manage large territory; periodic overnight travel
- Occasionally work evenings/weekends for conferences
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base range: $205,000β$230,000/year (target IC 60k)
- Bonus; 401K + employer contributions; generous stock options; ESPP; 20 days PTO; 18 holidays; benefits with employer match; paid parental leave.
