Territory: Peoria, IL; Naperville, IL; Iowa City, IA. Ideal candidate should reside in the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, specialty pharmacists, nurse navigators, and institutional accounts.
- Create and execute territory business plans aligned with broader commercial goals.
- Identify key prescribers/accounts and apply resources to support needs and priorities.
- Work with cross-functional partners to improve patient access and ensure timely availability of therapies.
- Use customer insights and data to prioritize actions, set goals, and measure performance.
- Support launches and local promotional activities through coordinated, compliant field programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biologic, specialty sales, or clinical oncology experience with direct physician or institutional engagement.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to drive within assigned territory (essential function).
- Residence within assigned territory; relocation assistance not provided.
- Ability to travel within territory and occasionally beyond, including overnight stays (up to 30β50%).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence without authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years oncology or specialty sales experience; health system/institutional account experience preferred.
- Experience with hematology or solid tumor therapies.
- Infusion product experience.
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account-based strategies.
- Proven ability to create/deliver territory plans and meet measurable targets.
- Strong organization and ability to balance multiple priorities.
Work Arrangement: Field-based; most work conducted in the field across the assigned territory. Driving is essential function.
