Position Summary:
Manage a defined territory (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, NY; excludes Albany) building trusted relationships with oncology care teams. Create and deliver territory plans to improve patient access and drive measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with oncologists, nurse navigators, specialty pharmacists, and institutional accounts.
- Create and execute clear territory business plans aligned with regional and national goals.
- Identify high-value prescribers/accounts and focus resources on clinical and operational priorities.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve patient access and ensure timely therapy availability.
- Use customer insights/data to prioritize actions, set measurable goals, and track performance.
- Support local launches and field programs through coordinated, compliant activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical/biologic/specialty sales or clinical oncology experience with direct physician/institutional engagement.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to drive in the territory.
- Live within or near the assigned territory (relocation assistance not provided).
- Travel within the territory and occasionally beyond; typically 30β50%.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills; influence without authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years oncology/specialty sales (health system/institutional account experience preferred).
- Experience with hematology or solid tumor settings.
- Infusion therapy/complex product handling experience.
- Specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account-based strategy familiarity.
- Strong organization; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Work Arrangement:
Field-based; driving is essential.
Compensation/Benefits (US):
Annual base salary range: $161,250β$268,750; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and caregiver/parental and medical leave.
