Position Summary
- The Oncology Account Executive drives sustained territory growth via new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships. Leads strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and high-touch account management for tumor profiling solutions. Builds relationships with oncologists, pathologists, and healthcare stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer experience from order initiation through report delivery, and supports adoption and utilization.

Job Responsibilities
- Sales & Territory Growth: Drive new account acquisition and organic growth; position Caris as preferred/sole-source tumor profiling provider; analyze territory opportunities and create sales plans; meet/exceed revenue, activity, and performance targets.
- Account Management & Customer Experience: Engage in-person to build relationships; ensure seamless experience across order lifecycle; communicate with stakeholders and escalate when satisfaction is at risk; execute retention strategies and identify upselling/cross-selling.
- Clinical & Technical Expertise: Engage oncology clinicians across clinics/labs/hospitals; support ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform (including PHI access when required); advise on portals/EMR integrations/workflows; maintain knowledge of molecular profiling/biomarkers/competitive offerings.
- Business/ Reimbursement & Market Insight: Provide guidance on billing/reimbursement/payer dynamics; support laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows; share market/customer/competitive insights.
- Collaboration & Administration: Partner with Client Services/Regional Business Directors/Commercial Leadership; maintain CRM documentation; manage assigned company assets; support meetings/conferences/trade shows; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree
- 3+ years relevant sales experience
- Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics
- Knowledge of billing and reimbursement environments
- Excellent communication/relationship-building; manage multiple priorities in matrixed environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid driverโ€™s license; willingness to travel regularly
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years oncology or molecular diagnostics sales experience
- Established oncology/pathology relationships
- Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks

Travel required (including possible evenings/weekends/holidays).
