Oncology Account Executive - Jacksonville, FL

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Understand and address customer needs; build relationships that provide market intelligence and support compliant, innovative programs across accounts in the geography.
- Partner with in-house/cross-franchise leaders to identify, design, and/or adapt approaches and tactics within geography.
- Deliver effective on-label technical and scientific presentations using approved data to highlight product benefits/risks and achieve sales quota.
- Serve as lead US Commercial contact with targeted accounts in assigned geography; collaborate with AbbVie and co-promotion counterparts (Brand/Strategic Marketing, GPO team, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, contracted SPPs) to provide customer support for physicians, including site support and issue resolution.
- Build, implement, communicate, and regularly update strategic/tactical business plans for targeted accounts; facilitate site physician/treatment team training on approved/safe use; monitor/report sales progress; provide routine communications to internal/external partners.
- Act as key point of contact for each account; respond/direct inquiries, follow up, and coordinate timely delivery of needed support.
- Attend and actively participate in local clinician boards/societies/HCP meetings; represent products, build/improve relationships, and channel on-label information to internal stakeholders.
- Stay current on clinical, market, and payer developments and trends specific to oncology.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Seek important information within assigned accounts/geography and communicate implications to business and customers.
- Transfer knowledge to internal partners and integrate standard methodologies that add value for customers/patients.
- Maintain complete understanding of approved product label and disease state knowledge.
- Optimize external/internal data, resources, and tools to identify sales opportunities and program strategy in assigned territories.
- With approval of legal/OEC, participate in relevant organizational programs in local markets.
- Demonstrate strong command of selling resources/tools to maximize impact.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements for facility access (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications
Basic:
- Bachelorโs degree
- Business savvy with analytical ability to analyze diverse data and define account/program strategies that drive business objectives
- Ability to meet customer needs in a complex environment using forward-thinking, innovative strategies aligned to company/customer objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to lead without direct authority and develop teams on complex projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Persistency and grit with a strong record of succeeding in challenging environments
- Ability to drive personal auto or company car/truck (or powered material handling equipment)
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements
Preferred:
- Oncology, Specialty, or other pharma experience
- Account Management experience
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Healthcare industry experience (e.g., working with patients or consulting healthcare companies)
- People management or other leadership experience
- MBA or other advanced degree
