Position Summary
- Drive sustained territory growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships for comprehensive tumor profiling solutions.
- Build clinical/operational relationships with oncologists, pathologists, and healthcare stakeholders; ensure exceptional customer experience from order initiation through report delivery.
- Partner with Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, Client Services, and cross-functional teams to execute territory growth strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive new account acquisition and organic growth via strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education.
- Position Caris as preferred/sole-source provider for tumor profiling and molecular intelligence.
- Analyze territory opportunities; develop sales plans; meet/exceed revenue, activity, and performance targets.
- Maintain in-person customer relationships; ensure seamless order lifecycle experience.
- Communicate with stakeholders; escalate issues; execute retention; identify upsell/cross-sell.
- Engage clinicians across clinics, pathology labs, and hospitals.
- Support ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform (including access to PHI when required); advise on portals/EMR integrations/workflows.
- Provide consultative guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics; share market/competitive insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams; maintain accurate CRM; complete admin tasks; maintain company assets; support meetings/conferences/trade shows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree; 3+ years relevant sales experience.
- Strong oncology practices and molecular diagnostics knowledge.
- Knowledge of billing/reimbursement; excellent communication/relationship-building.
- Manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment; Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency.
- Valid driverโs license; willingness to travel regularly; successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years oncology/molecular diagnostics-focused sales.
- Established oncology/pathology relationships; familiarity with hospital systems/pathology networks.
