OI&A Commercial Analytics, Director
What You Will Do
- Strategic analytics leader for the U.S. Obesity business, translating market/customer/patient/competitive/performance data into business recommendations.
- Lead secondary analytics supporting market development, launch readiness, brand strategy, customer engagement, and performance management.
- Flexible commuter role (Thousand Oaks, CA), on-site minimum 3 days/week.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior commercial leadership on market dynamics, performance, risks/opportunities, and investment choices.
- Own/evolve the secondary analytics agenda and align priorities with business questions and launch milestones.
- Integrate internal/external data to generate insights on HCP/patient behavior, adoption, competition, access, channels, and market performance.
- Convert analytics into recommendations impacting brand strategy, targeting, field execution, resource allocation, and performance improvement.
- Lead executive performance management, scenario planning, and high-priority investigative analyses.
- Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Forecasting, Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Value & Access, Medical, and OI&A.
- Direct internal/matrixed/external analytical resources; set priorities, quality standards, timelines, accountability.
- Advance analytics capabilities (new data sources, advanced methods, AI-enabled tools, governance) with legal/regulatory compliance.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 4 years analytics OR Masterβs + 7 years OR Bachelorβs + 9 years.
Preferred Qualifications (selected)
- Secondary-data/advanced analytics experience influencing biopharma/healthcare/Life Sciences commercial strategy.
- Ability to advise/influence senior leaders with clear recommendations and trade-offs.
- Experience integrating healthcare data (e.g., prescriptions, claims, patient, HCP, payer, access, digital/promotional).
- Lead AI/automation/decision-support initiatives from use-case to adoption.
