Territory Account Specialist (TAS) β field-based/remote supporting key accounts in an assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan to align priorities and drive product demand for better patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use market/competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover local insights and lead impactful engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex challenges across functions.
- Provide real-time access support; work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 5 years (role-level dependent) experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales; field leadership and customer engagement required (Associate level may have limited sales experience).
- Track record navigating and selling to large accounts.
- Self-starter with analytic skills and ethical, compliant behavior.
- Live within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account strategy, new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
