Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Anticipate opportunities and respond with agility using knowledge of the market, competition, and cross-functional dynamics.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover local insights and lead impactful customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex challenges across functions with urgency.
- Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for a seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Qualifications/Requirements (Essential):
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similar complex sales environments) with large, geographically dispersed teams within the last 5 years; Associate level: limited prior sales experience encouraged.
- Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytic problem-solving; ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Reside in territory (or within 50 miles commuting distance); travel 60โ80%; ability to drive/fly; valid driverโs license.
Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic areas/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
