Role Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory
- Engages with customers face to face and virtually
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies
- Builds rapport and relationships in live/virtual environments using digital tools effectively
- Leverages internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities
- Uses product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded value propositions and applies approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources
- Collaborates across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives
- Completes administrative expectations on time and compliantly
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Or minimum 2 years experience in: Professional Sales/Promotional Activity; Small Business Owner/entrepreneurial; Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Account Management; relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal); or Full Time Military experience (or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or high school diploma with 8+ years)
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical marketing
- Track record of sales/marketing success; strong territory management; outstanding communications; teamwork, leadership, accountability
- Experience with applicable disease states/therapeutic area/products
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets; reside within territory boundaries
