Role Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Builds rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments using digital tools effectively.
- Leverages internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly uses product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded value propositions; uses approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources as applicable.
- Collaborates compliantly across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience OR (Associate’s degree with 6+ years) OR (High school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years).
- Experience in Professional Sales/Promotional Activity, and/or Small Business Owner/Entrepreneurial, Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Account Management, and/or Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), and/or Educator roles, and/or Full Time Military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid US driver’s license; driving record compliant with company standards; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical-related marketing.
- Strong sales/marketing track record, territory management, communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with disease states/therapeutic area/products.
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Reside within the territory boundaries.
