Role Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in assigned territory.
- Engage with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develop and implement business/territory call plans; execute live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and maintain customer engagement using digital tools.
- Use internal reports/analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly educate providers on unbranded/branded product value for relevant patient populations using approved disease-state information and patient resources.
- Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or high school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years) in one or more of: professional sales/promotional activity; small business owner/entrepreneurial/marketing/customer service/account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT/OT); educator (e.g., teacher/principal); full-time military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; strong territory management, communication, teamwork, leadership, accountability.
- Experience with relevant disease states/therapeutic area/products.
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
Benefits/Compensation:
- Base salary range: $76,000–$199,600.
- Training: initially salary non-exempt (overtime eligible); post-certification becomes overtime exempt.
- Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus.
