Role Responsibilities:
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize impact.
- Builds rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments; maintains engagement using existing and changing digital tools.
- Leverages internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly leverages product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded product value proposition and uses approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources.
- Collaborates across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or HS diploma/equivalent with 8+ years) in: Professional Sales/Promotional Activity; small business owner/entrepreneurial experience; marketing, customer service, and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); educator (e.g., teacher/principal); or full-time military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year in pharmaceutical/biotech medical sales and/or medical marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; territory management; communication; teamwork/leadership/accountability.
- Experience with applicable disease states/therapeutic area/products; knowledge of territory customers and markets.
- Reside within territory boundaries.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Annual base salary range: $76,000–$199,600; quarterly Sales Incentive bonus; overtime eligibility during initial training; 401(k) with Pfizer matching and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
