Neuroscience Sales Specialist (Portland metro area)
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs and office staff.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient/product education.
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to customer needs.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget.
- Maintain competitive advantage by addressing external market challenges and collaborating internally.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned geography.
- Adhere to company compliance policies.
- Achieve sales goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- 1+ year full-time documented B2B sales experience (pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred).
Skills/Abilities (required/preferred)
- Proven accomplishments in the market; strong interpersonal skills and communication (written/oral).
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Preferred: reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge; new product launch; broad therapeutic area experience.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license.
Travel: Regular travel; may include air and weekend/overnight.
Compensation: $88,000โ$160,000 starting salary; may participate in sales incentive plan.
