Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport with HCPs and office staff; respond to customer needs
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product/patient education
- Grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to customer needs; drive product differentiation and sales targets
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget
- Address external market challenges and collaborate with internal teams on sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned geography
- Adhere to compliance policies
- Achieve sales goals and complete required administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field)
- Minimum 1 year full-time documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven market accomplishments; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Preferred: reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge; new product launch experience; broad therapeutic area experience
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license required
Travel/Territory:
- Regular travel (including overnight/weekend possible)
