Key Responsibilities:
- Build best-in-class, diverse teams through talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
- Deliver region sales targets in partnership with national teams; establish a cadence of accountability, supervise KPIs, and engage all performance levels.
- Set clear expectations and foster accountability; improve processes by challenging norms.
- Create, execute, and oversee a regional business plan to meet customer needs, enhance customer experience, and increase product demand among HCPs, key accounts, and Systems of Care.
- Partner with and contribute to the national leadership team to improve regional capabilities, business performance, team growth, and culture.
- Ensure team execution aligns with ethics, professionalism, integrity, and relevant policies.
- Optimize regional budget allocation using strategic face-to-face and Omni Channel resources tailored to regional needs.
- Create an environment that encourages ideas, collaboration, experimentation, and learning from failures; ensure alignment with the code of ethics.
- Support team development through individualized development plans and performance improvement.
- Use analytics platforms to guide decisions and identify risk/opportunity.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years in commercial pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similarly structured) industries; experience leading large, geographically dispersed field sales teams; strong field leadership/customer engagement.
- 5+ years as a first-line sales manager; critical thinking and enterprise mindset (e.g., brand management, market access, or account leadership).
- Experience managing field organizations through change/innovation/growth (highly valued).
- Demonstrated success driving sales, leading cross-functional teams, and executing strategy in matrixed, multi-regional environments.
- Proven track record attracting/developing/retaining diverse talent; strong cross-functional leadership.
- Experience building business/incentive plans; operational and financial/business acumen; strategic/analytical thinking; budget management.
- Reside within region (or reasonable commuting distance to a metro airport); travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Proven leadership as a second-line sales manager.
- Cross-functional experience (market access, reimbursement, or account management); understanding payer landscapes, buy-and-bill, and specialty pharmacy.

Driving Requirement:
- Must have a fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
