Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Regional Customer Engagement Strategy; collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Patient Services, and Market Access.
- Build and lead best-in-class, diverse teams via talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
- Deliver regional sales targets; establish a cadence of accountability, supervise KPIs, and drive decisive action on underperformance.
- Create, execute, and oversee a regional business plan focused on customer needs to enhance customer experience and increase product demand among HCPs, key accounts, and Systems of Care.
- Partner with national leadership to strengthen regional capabilities, performance, team growth, and culture.
- Ensure ethical conduct aligned with the Code of Ethics and policies; promote integrity and professionalism.
- Optimize regional budget allocation using strategic face-to-face and Omni Channel resources.
- Build a collaborative, learning-focused environment (ideas, experimentation, failure-as-learning) and develop team members through growth plans.
- Use analytics to guide decisions and identify risks/opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 10+ years in commercial pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similarly complex sales environments); strong field leadership and customer engagement.
- 5+ years as a first-line sales manager; critical thinking and enterprise attitude.
- Experience leading sales strategy in matrixed, multi-regional environments and achieving sales performance.
- Track record attracting/developing/retaining diverse talent; cross-functional leadership.
- Built business/incentive plans; operational/financial/business acumen; manage budgets.
- Reside within region or reasonable commute to a metropolitan airport; travel 60โ80%; valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Second-line sales management leadership.
- Cross-functional experience (market access, reimbursement, account management); payer landscape, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy knowledge.
Driving is an essential function: must have a fully valid and unrestricted driverโs license.
Compensation/Benefits (summary):
- Expected salary: $204,400โ$379,600/year; performance cash incentive; possible annual equity; US benefits and time off package.
