Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Regional Customer Engagement Strategy; lead customer engagement efforts with Marketing, Medical, Patient Services, and Market Access.
- Build best-in-class, diverse teams via talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
- Deliver regional sales targets; manage and communicate KPIs, accountability cadence, and performance.
- Create, execute, and oversee a regional business plan to improve customer experience and increase product demand among HCPs, key accounts, and Systems of Care.
- Serve as a national leadership team member to strengthen regional capabilities, performance, team growth, and culture.
- Ensure ethical conduct and alignment with company Code of Ethics and policies.
- Optimize regional budget allocation using face-to-face and Omni Channel resources.
- Coach teams through development plans; foster idea-sharing, collaboration, experimentation, and learning from failures.
- Use analytics platforms to guide decisions and identify risk/opportunity.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years in commercial pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams.
- 5+ years as a first-line sales manager.
- Proven sales leadership, cross-functional leadership, and strategy execution in matrixed/multi-regional environments.
- Track record attracting/developing/retaining diverse talent.
- Experience building business and incentive plans; strong financial and business acumen.
- Reside within region or reasonable commuting distance; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
- Driving is essential; unrestricted license required.
Desirable Requirements:
- Leadership as a second-line sales manager.
- Cross-functional experience (market access, reimbursement, account management); payer buy/bill and specialty pharmacy knowledge.
Compensation/Benefits (US eligible):
- Salary range expected: $204,400β$379,600/year; performance cash incentive; potential annual equity; comprehensive benefits and time off.
