Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialty sales team focused on CNS/psychiatry products within the PA-NJ district.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members; coach and mentor to achieve above-average results.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive clinical and practical outcomes for patients, and ensure successful product adoption in target accounts.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key stakeholders; maintain credentialing requirements as needed.
  • Analyze market dynamics and performance metrics; utilize strong business acumen to inform decisions and allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals, tactics, and execution; maintain flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Required: Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach sales representatives and lead the team.
  • Clinical; patient-centric and tactical with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated; ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Dynamic, high-impact; strong selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Technical aptitude; working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
