Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the PA-NJ District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team focused on CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and related areas.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; drive above-average results and sales performance.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, business acumen, and tactical selling skills; manage multiple priorities and adapt to an innovative work environment.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to meet district objectives.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Note: candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales teams.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; strong analytical skills; commercial acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.
