Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the NY-NJ District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the neuroscience/psychiatry space.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialized sales representatives; provide direction and mentorship to drive results.
  • Manage district sales activities, ensure achievement of sales goals, and implement strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities; secure necessary credentialing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize market approach and territory strategy.
  • Travel up to 75% to cover the district effectively.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Experience in small company and start-up environments; ability to adapt in an innovative work environment.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education
