Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the NY-NJ district.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a district team of specialty sales representatives in CNS/psychiatry-focused products.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach high-performing sales professionals; drive achievement of sales goals and district performance.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and state/local authorities to secure necessary credentialing and approvals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans and ensure compliant execution in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing teams of specialty sales representatives; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Analytical and business acumen; comfortable in innovative work environments; experience in small company/start-up settings.
