Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the Gulf Coast District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in the CNS/psychiatry space.
  • Recruit, retain, and build positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
  • Analyze performance and implement strategies to achieve above-average results; manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • Represent the district in local and regional travels; maintain effectiveness in an innovative work environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operate a motor vehicle as required for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience; leadership experience preferred for DSM role.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/schizophrenia/bipolar/depression specialty experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing specialty sales team; proven sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain relationships; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
  • Highly clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated; independent decision-making capability.
  • Dynamic, high-impact presenter with effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
