Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry; 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
- Fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may qualify for an Associate DSM position.
- Specialty experience preferred: CNS/psychiatry (schizophrenia, bipolar, depression); other specialty experience considered.
Qualifications/Required Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
- Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and business acumen.
- Must reside near a major airport within the district.
- Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up environments.
- Valid driverโs license and clean driving history; ability to operate a motor vehicle for local/regional/occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to travel up to 75%; may occasionally lift/move up to 15 pounds.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
