Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialty sales team within the psychiatry/CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing district-level sales representatives.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facilities; drive compliant credentialing as required.
  • Analyze performance data, adjust strategies, and drive above-average results through effective coaching and territory management.
  • Communicate clinical and product information clearly to internal teams and customers; maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Travel up to 75% as operationally required.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Leadership experience; candidates with fewer than 3 years may be considered for an Associate DSM position.
  • Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to operate in an innovative work environment.
  • Experience in small company and startup environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
