Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry; 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
- Fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
- Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression (other specialty experience considered).
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
- Driver’s license and clean driving history.
- Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Must reside near a major airport within the district.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.

- Excellent people management; develop and coach specialty sales reps; lead and mentor the team.
- Highly clinical, patient-centric, tactical; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

- Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and make sound decisions; effective selling/presentation.
