Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) – Cincinnati District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a specialty sales team focused on CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar and depression therapies.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing district team; coach and mentor sales representatives.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and payers; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets; demonstrate a strong analytical and business acumen to drive results.
  • Operate effectively in an innovative, potentially small-company/start-up environment; travel up to 75% as required.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; read situations quickly and adapt to roadblocks.
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar, or depression.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing specialty sales team; documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing; able to travel up to 75%.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong analytical and business acumen.
