Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage a district team of specialty sales representatives in the neuroscience/psychiatry space.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent; coach and mentor to achieve above-average results.
  • Drive clinical, patient-centric, and tactical selling with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to optimize district performance and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen to inform decisions and improve results.
  • Travel up to 75% as required by district responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Must have a driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain positive relationships; excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated performance history in sales and leadership; ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small company/start-up environment and adapt to an innovative work environment.

Skills

  • Excellent selling and presentation skills; dynamic and high-impact communicator.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
